YoodaAI for Claude and ChatGPT

Prep in Claude. YoodaAI remembers it in the interview.

Connect YoodaAI to the AI you already use. Ask it to get you ready for an interview or tailor your resume: it reads your CV, does the work in the chat and saves the result to your YoodaAI account. On interview day, YoodaAI's live assistant answers with it.

Free with every YoodaAI account, including free ones. No tool spends credits.

How it works

One connection, then just ask

Watch the four things people do most. The left side is your AI app, the right side is your YoodaAI account updating as it works.

Add YoodaAI as a connector in Claude, sign in with your YoodaAI account and allow it. That's the only setup, and it's free.

Get started

Set it up in a minute

No download and no API key. You need a YoodaAI account (free) and an AI app that supports connectors, like Claude.

  1. 1

    Copy the server URL

    It's the same address for every app.

    https://app.yoodaai.pro/api/mcp
  2. 2

    Add it to your AI app

    In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL, sign in with YoodaAI and choose Allow.

    CustomizeConnectorsAdd custom connectorAllow
  3. 3

    Ask in the chat

    Talk to it like a coach. It uses YoodaAI when your request needs it.

    • Prep me for my interview tomorrow
    • Tailor my resume to this job
    • Where was I weak in my last mock interview?
Step-by-step setup for every app

Why connect it

What it's good for

  • Your prep follows you into the interview

    What you work out with Claude is saved to your YoodaAI profile, and the live assistant answers with it when the real interview starts.

  • A resume for every job, in a minute

    Paste the posting. Your resume is rewritten to match it, the ATS score is checked and the new version is saved, ready to download.

  • Learn from every practice round

    Your AI reads your mock interviews and practice answers and gives you a short, concrete list of what to fix next.

Setup

Connect your AI app

Every app uses the same server URL. Pick yours for the steps. You always sign in with your YoodaAI account and approve access on a YoodaAI consent screen.

  1. 1In Claude, open Customize → Connectors (in some versions it's under Settings → Connectors).
  2. 2Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. 3Name it YoodaAI, paste the server URL and follow the prompts to finish adding it.
  4. 4When asked, sign in with your YoodaAI account and click Allow on the YoodaAI consent screen.
  5. 5In a chat, open the + menu, choose Connectors and make sure YoodaAI is turned on.

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds the connector in the organization settings, and members then connect it from Customize → Connectors.

  1. 1Check that your plan or workspace allows custom MCP connectors. In ChatGPT they sit behind developer mode, which a workspace admin may need to turn on.
  2. 2Create a new connector in ChatGPT's settings, paste the server URL and choose OAuth as the sign-in method.
  3. 3Sign in with your YoodaAI account, click Allow on the consent screen, then turn the connector on in a chat.

Custom MCP connectors are only available on some ChatGPT plans and workspaces, and OpenAI sometimes moves the setting. Check OpenAI's help center for what your plan includes.

  1. 1Run the command below to add the server.
  2. 2Start Claude Code, run /mcp, pick yoodaai and sign in with your YoodaAI account in the browser window that opens.
Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http yoodaai https://app.yoodaai.pro/api/mcp

The server is added for the current project. Add --scope user to the command to use it in all your projects.

  1. 1Add the server with the first command.
  2. 2Run the second command and sign in with your YoodaAI account in the browser.
Add the server
codex mcp add yoodaai --url https://app.yoodaai.pro/api/mcp
Sign in
codex mcp login yoodaai

Codex keeps the server in ~/.codex/config.toml, so it's there in every session.

  1. 1Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json to use YoodaAI in every project, or .cursor/mcp.json in a project folder for just that project.
  2. 2Add the yoodaai entry below and save the file. If the file already lists servers, put yoodaai next to them.
  3. 3When Cursor asks, sign in with your YoodaAI account and click Allow.
mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "yoodaai": {
      "url": "https://app.yoodaai.pro/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cursor supports OAuth sign-in for remote servers, so there's no key to paste.

  1. 1Create or open .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace.
  2. 2Add the yoodaai entry below and save. You can also run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and paste the server URL.
  3. 3Start the server, sign in with your YoodaAI account in the browser window that opens and click Allow.
.vscode/mcp.json
{
  "servers": {
    "yoodaai": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://app.yoodaai.pro/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

The first time the server starts, VS Code asks you to trust it and sign in. Review those prompts before you accept them.

Using another app? If it supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in, add the same URL there. This page only gives steps for apps whose own documentation we've checked.

What your AI can do with YoodaAI

The server gives your AI a small set of tools. It uses them when you ask for something that needs them.

  • Your personalization profile

    Read and update the profile the live interview assistant answers with: your CV text and summary, target role, highlights, languages and levels, answer length and tone.

    • get_profile
    • update_profile_cv
    • update_speaking_style
  • Your resume

    Read and save your resume in the ATS resume builder, with its ATS score. Ask your AI to tailor it to a job description.

    • get_resume
    • save_resume
  • Your practice history

    Read your practice rounds and mock interviews, with answers, scores, feedback, transcripts and reports, so your AI can coach you on them.

    • list_practice_rounds
    • get_practice_round
    • list_mock_interviews
    • get_mock_interview
  • The interview question bank

    Search the role-based interview questions on the YoodaAI site, in English and Turkish.

    • search_interview_questions
  • Your account

    Check your credit balance and your plan.

    • get_account

Three ready-made workflows

Apps that support MCP prompts list these as starting points, so you don't have to write the request yourself.

  • Prepare for an interviewGive the company, the role and, if you have it, the job description. You get the questions you're likely to be asked and STAR answers built from your CV. It can also set your profile's target role and highlights.
  • Review my last mock interviewYour AI reads your latest mock interview and walks you through where your answers were weak and how to make them stronger.
  • Tailor my resume to a jobPaste a job description and your AI rewrites your resume for it, then saves it once you confirm.

What can't it do?

The connector works on your prep and nothing else. It can't touch your money or your login.

  • Spend your credits
  • Start interviews
  • See your password or change your login
  • Buy anything or see your payment details

Before it saves a change to your profile or resume, your AI is told to ask you to confirm. Whatever it saves shows up in the YoodaAI app straight away.

Not part of the MCP server

  • The live interview assistant
  • Voice mock interviews
  • AI headshots
  • Payments and plans

Is my data private?

Your AI only sees your own YoodaAI account, and only when it calls a YoodaAI tool.

  • It can reach only the account you signed in with.
  • Nothing from your account goes to your AI app until it calls a YoodaAI tool for something you asked.
  • Before you connect, a YoodaAI consent screen lists what the app can and can't do.
  • You can disconnect any time in the YoodaAI app, under Settings → Security → Connected AI apps.
