LockedIn AI vs Final Round AI vs YoodaAI: Compared in 2026
LockedIn AI is the cheaper of the two for a search of a few months, advertises more than 50 languages and has a mobile app. Final Round AI builds its live answers from your resume, lists every interview type on every paid plan, and costs less if you commit to a whole year. YoodaAI, the third option here, skips the subscription and charges by the hour.
That is the short answer. The rest of this post sets out the prices, refund terms and features behind it, all taken from each company's own website on October 6, 2026. We make YoodaAI, so weigh what we say about it accordingly; everything below links to a source you can check.

Which costs less?
LockedIn AI is an interview copilot that sells unlimited use by the month or the quarter: $54.99 a month, or $39.99 a month billed every three months, which is $119.97. Its pricing page shows both as discounts on a $109.98 list price, under a limited-time code. Those are its General plans; the Professional tier, which adds stealth mode and LockedIn Duo, a remote assist option it describes as human help, is $119.99 a month or $79.99 a month billed quarterly. It also sells a lifetime licence for $999.50, and "Credits" plans at $69.99 a month for 400 copilot minutes or $49.99 a month billed quarterly for 20 hours, which include the same two features.
Final Round AI is an interview copilot sold only by subscription. Monthly is $150, quarterly is $83.33 a month ($250 upfront) and yearly is $25 a month ($300 upfront). Premium MAX, with premium AI models and faster support, is $41.67 a month billed yearly, or $500.04 a year. Its free plan includes a basic AI interview report but no live copilot.
Over three months, LockedIn AI's General plan costs less than half of what Final Round AI does: $119.97 against $250. Like for like is closer: if you want the stealth mode that every Final Round AI plan includes, LockedIn AI's Professional quarter is $239.97. Over a year the order flips. Final Round AI's yearly plan is $300, while LockedIn AI's pricing page lists no yearly unlimited plan, so a year of it is four quarters, $479.88, or the $999.50 lifetime licence.
YoodaAI sits outside that comparison because it doesn't sell time in advance. An hour is $9.99, three are $19.99 and six are $29.99, about $5 an hour, and unused credits never expire. At that rate YoodaAI stays cheaper until you need about 24 hours of live help in three months, the point where LockedIn AI's quarter costs the same, or about 60 hours in a year against Final Round AI's yearly plan. Most searches never come close: a typical one brings a handful of interviews, and in September 2026 the median unemployed American had been looking for 11.5 weeks (BLS, Table A-12).
Refunds and commitment
Neither subscription is easy to undo, so the refund terms matter as much as the price.
LockedIn AI's refund policy, updated September 17, 2026, gives a 7-day refund window on annual subscriptions only. Monthly and quarterly subscriptions are non-refundable once started, renewals aren't refunded, and cancelling keeps your access until the end of the billing period. Its pricing page lists monthly, quarterly and lifetime plans but no annual one, so none of the plans you can buy there has a refund window.
Final Round AI's terms depend on which of its pages you read. Its refund policy, updated July 16, 2026, offers one 72-hour money-back guarantee per customer, void after two interview sessions longer than 30 minutes. The FAQ on its plans page says that guarantee only covers first purchases of quarterly and yearly plans, and that monthly plans, renewals and upgrades are non-refundable.
YoodaAI doesn't refund either: our terms say charges are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or the purchase states otherwise. The difference is that there is nothing to renew or cancel. Credits you don't use stay on your account and never expire.
During the interview
All three listen to the call and suggest what to say, but they build the answer differently.
Final Round AI writes first-person answers from your resume, the job description and your target role, so the answers can bring in your own projects without you typing them. Every paid plan lists coding, HireVue and phone interviews, and stealth mode, which hides the app from screen sharing.
LockedIn AI leads on speed and reach. It advertises a 116 ms average response and more than 50 languages, its unlimited plan covers coding rounds, meetings and online assessments for up to two hours per interview, and you can upload documents for it to work from. Stealth mode comes with its Professional, Credits and Lifetime plans, not the cheapest General one.
YoodaAI answers from what is said in the call rather than from your resume. A few seconds after each question it writes two to four sentences you can say in your own words, or a short code block with a one-line explanation for a coding question, in any of 12 languages. It runs in its own browser tab and isn't hidden from screen sharing, so you share one window rather than your whole screen. How YoodaAI's live help works.
Devices and setup
LockedIn AI has desktop and mobile apps. Final Round AI has a native desktop app for macOS and Windows, and its FAQ says the same subscription works in desktop and mobile browsers. YoodaAI needs Chrome or Edge on a laptop or desktop computer, with nothing to install: you open it in a tab and share the tab your interview is in.
If you take interviews on your phone, YoodaAI is the one of the three that won't work for you.
Practice and extras
Beyond live help, each one bundles a different set of tools:
- LockedIn AI includes unlimited mock interviews on its unlimited plan and offers free tools such as a resume builder, a resume checker, a cover letter generator and a job tracker.
- Final Round AI includes a question bank of more than 10,000 questions and AI interview reports on its paid plans.
- YoodaAI has scored mock interviews: five questions for your role and level, each scored out of 100, with the first round free and later rounds at 5 credits. The same credits pay for an ATS resume builder's PDF exports and for job applications that our team sends for you, at about $0.25 each. Neither of the other two applies to jobs for you.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose LockedIn AI if your interviews are in a language YoodaAI doesn't cover, you want an app on your phone, or you expect a busy few months and want unlimited sessions for $119.97 a quarter.
- Choose Final Round AI if you want live answers built from your resume, or you will interview steadily for a year and can commit $300 upfront.
- Choose YoodaAI if you have a handful of interviews and don't want a subscription, or if you also want practice and job applications on the same balance.
Whichever you pick, check the employer's rules on AI help first. Some forbid it during interviews, and stealth features don't change those rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is LockedIn AI cheaper than Final Round AI?
For up to a few months, yes: LockedIn AI's General plan is $54.99 a month or $119.97 a quarter, against Final Round AI's $150 a month or $250 a quarter. Its Professional plan, which adds stealth mode, is $239.97 a quarter. For a full year Final Round AI is cheaper at $300, because LockedIn AI's pricing page lists no yearly unlimited plan.
Which is better for coding interviews?
Both cover coding rounds. LockedIn AI's unlimited plan includes coding interviews and online assessments for up to two hours per session, and Final Round AI lists coding interviews on every paid plan. YoodaAI gives a short code block with a one-line explanation, but works from what is said in the call rather than reading your screen.
Do LockedIn AI or Final Round AI give refunds?
Only in narrow cases. LockedIn AI refunds annual plans within 7 days and nothing else, and its pricing page lists no annual plan. Final Round AI's refund policy offers a 72-hour guarantee once per customer, but the FAQ on its plans page limits it to first quarterly and yearly purchases.
Can I use them on a phone?
LockedIn AI has a mobile app, and Final Round AI says its plans work in mobile browsers. YoodaAI needs a computer.
