7 Final Round AI Alternatives, Priced and Compared (2026)
Final Round AI's live interview copilot needs its Pro plan: $150 for a month, $250 for a quarter or $300 for a year, and its money-back guarantee only covers the first 72 hours. That is a lot to commit before a search that may only bring a handful of interviews, which is why "Final Round AI alternatives" is such a common search.
This post compares seven live interview copilots against it on price, billing and what each does better. Every price comes from the vendor's own website, checked on October 6, 2026, and links to the full comparison where we have one. One disclosure up front: we make YoodaAI, one of the seven. We have tried to be as exact about where it loses as about where it wins.
Why people look for a Final Round AI alternative
Most people leave over price and commitment, not quality. Final Round AI has no free live sessions, so the cheapest way to use its copilot in a real interview is a month of Pro at $150 (its plans). Paying quarterly brings that to $83.33 a month and yearly to $25 a month, but both are paid upfront, $250 and $300.
The refund terms make that commitment harder to undo, and Final Round AI's own pages don't quite agree on them. Its refund policy, last updated July 16, 2026, offers one 72-hour money-back guarantee per customer, void once you have had two interview sessions longer than 30 minutes in that billing period. The FAQ on its plans page is stricter: the 72-hour guarantee covers only first purchases of quarterly and yearly plans, and monthly plans, renewals and upgrades aren't refundable. Either way, cancelling stops the next charge without refunding the current one.
None of that makes it a bad product. Final Round AI is one of the best-known interview copilots, and its CoPilot writes first-person answers from your resume, the job description and your target role, which none of the pay-as-you-go tools below do. Its desktop app for macOS and Windows hides its window from screen sharing by default. And if you interview constantly for a year, $300 for unlimited use can cost less than buying hours. The full Final Round AI vs YoodaAI comparison covers those trade-offs in detail.

The alternatives, one by one
1. YoodaAI: best for a search with a few interviews
YoodaAI is a browser-based interview copilot sold by the hour instead of by the month: $9.99 for one hour, $19.99 for three and $29.99 for six, with no subscription and credits that never expire. It runs in a Chrome or Edge tab, so there is nothing to install. You share the browser tab your interview is in, and a few seconds after each question it writes a short answer of two to four sentences that you can say in your own words, in any of 12 languages.
Where it beats Final Round AI is cost and commitment: one interview costs $9.99 rather than a $150 month. The same credits pay for scored mock interviews, an ATS resume builder and job applications that our team sends for you at about $0.25 each, and your first mock interview is free. Where Final Round AI is better: YoodaAI's answers come from what is said in the call, not from your resume, and it isn't hidden from screen sharing, so you share one window rather than your whole screen. How YoodaAI's live help works.
2. LockedIn AI: best for speed and languages
LockedIn AI is an interview copilot built for speed: it advertises a 116 ms average response and more than 50 languages. It has desktop and mobile apps, help for coding rounds and online assessments, and LockedIn Duo, a remote assist option it describes as human assistance. On its pricing page, the unlimited plan is $54.99 a month, or $39.99 a month billed every three months ($119.97), and a lifetime licence is $999.50, each shown as a discount on a higher list price.
Against Final Round AI, a quarter of LockedIn AI costs less than half of Final Round's quarter ($119.97 against $250), and it covers far more languages. It is still a subscription, though, so a short search costs a full billing period. LockedIn AI vs YoodaAI, or LockedIn AI and Final Round AI head to head.
3. Parakeet AI: best for paying as you go on any device
Parakeet AI is the other credit-based tool here: one credit is one hour of calls, spent in 30-minute blocks. On its website, a single credit is €33, three are €51, six are €102 with two free, and nine are €153 with six free, which brings an hour down to €10.20. It also sells unlimited use at €129.90 a month, €43.33 a month billed yearly, or €67 for a single week.
Its edge over Final Round AI is flexibility: no subscription unless you want one. It runs on desktop, in the browser and on your phone, and it gives you a 10-minute free session and a free first mock interview. Per hour it costs more than YoodaAI at every pack size. Parakeet AI vs YoodaAI.
4. Cluely: best if you also want help outside interviews
Cluely is a general AI meeting assistant: a desktop app that listens to any call, answers when you ask and takes notes, with interviews as one use among sales calls, classes and team meetings. On its pricing page, the Starter plan is free with limited responses, Pro is $19.99 a month ($11.99 billed yearly), and Pro + Undetectability, which hides it from screen sharing, is $149.99 a month ($44.99 billed yearly).
It is the cheapest monthly subscription on this list, and the only one that also covers the rest of your working life. It isn't built for job searching, though: there are no mock interviews, and nothing in its plans is specific to interviews. Cluely vs YoodaAI, or see the interview tools people use instead of Cluely.
5. Sensei AI: closest to Final Round AI's personalised answers
Sensei AI is an interview copilot that tailors live answers to the resume and personal stories you upload, which is the feature most Final Round AI users would miss elsewhere. It advertises more than 30 languages and includes a coding copilot, an AI resume builder and a story editor. On its website, Pro is $89 a month or $24 a month billed yearly, about $288 upfront, and the free plan caps sessions at 15 minutes.
That is $61 a month less than Final Round AI's monthly Pro, for the same kind of personalisation. Check the terms first: its website says it doesn't refund, so you can cancel the next payment but not the current one. Sensei AI vs YoodaAI.
6. Verve AI: best for the most tools per dollar
Verve AI is an interview copilot with a desktop app for Mac and Windows, which has a stealth mode, and an iPhone app. It transcribes more than 55 languages and includes 14 AI tools, among them a resume builder, a cover letter builder and an ATS checker. The free plan gives three 15-minute copilot sessions and five mock interviews. On its pricing page, Standard is $44.99 a month for five 60-minute sessions, $39.99 a month billed quarterly for 15 sessions, or $16.99 a month billed yearly; Pro, with unlimited 90-minute sessions, is $84.99, $59.99 or $34.99 a month on the same terms.
Verve's Standard plan costs less than Final Round AI's Pro on every billing term, and paid plans include unlimited mock interviews. The catch is the session cap: a copilot session stops at 60 minutes on Standard and 90 on Pro. Verve AI vs YoodaAI.
7. Interview Coder: best only if every round is a coding round
Interview Coder is a Windows and Mac desktop app built around technical and coding interviews, and it markets more than 20 features for staying hidden. Its download is free but has no AI features; Pro is $299 a month for 1,000 credits, or $799 once for lifetime access.
It is the most specialised tool here and the most expensive to start. If your search is all coding and system design rounds and you will use it for years, the lifetime licence is the case for it; otherwise most of the tools above cover coding questions for much less. Interview Coder vs YoodaAI.
What a three-month search costs on each
A typical search lasts about three months. In September 2026 the median unemployed American had been looking for work for 11.5 weeks (BLS, Table A-12, September 2026). Say that brings six interviews of about 45 minutes, or 4.5 hours of live help.
How we worked it out: for each tool we took the cheapest plan or pack on its own price list that covers those six interviews within three months.
| Tool | Cheapest way to cover six 45-minute interviews | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| YoodaAI | 6-hour pack | $29.99 |
| Cluely | Three months of Pro | $59.97 |
| Parakeet AI | 6 credits (8 with the bonus) | €102 ($118) |
| LockedIn AI | Unlimited, billed every three months | $119.97 |
| Verve AI | Standard, billed quarterly | $119.97 |
| Final Round AI | Pro, billed quarterly | $250 |
| Sensei AI | Three months of Pro | $267 |
| Interview Coder | Lifetime licence | $799 |
The picture changes if you interview far more. At YoodaAI's lowest rate, about $5 an hour, a yearly plan becomes the cheaper choice once you need more than 40 to 60 hours of live help in a year. The break-even is about 41 hours for Verve AI's Standard ($203.88 a year, for 60 hour-long sessions), 58 for Sensei AI ($288) and 60 for Final Round AI ($300).
How to choose
Pick by the reason you are leaving Final Round AI:
- The price of a short search: YoodaAI ($9.99 an hour, no subscription) or Parakeet AI (credits from €33).
- You want answers built from your resume: Sensei AI, the closest match, for $89 a month.
- Your interview isn't in English: LockedIn AI (50+ languages advertised) or Verve AI (55+ for transcription). YoodaAI covers 12, so check yours is one of them.
- Every round is a coding round: Interview Coder, if you will use it long enough to justify $799.
- You want help in all your meetings, not only interviews: Cluely.
Whichever you choose, check how the employer runs the interview first. Some ask candidates not to use outside help, and several of these tools sell hiding from screen sharing as a feature. That is a decision about the employer's rules, not about the software; we look at what interviewers can actually see in a separate post.
If you want practice, not live help
If what you need is to get better at answering, rather than help during the call, you don't need a copilot subscription at all. Several tools here let you practise for free: Verve AI's free plan includes five mock interviews, and the first mock interview is free on Parakeet AI and on YoodaAI. YoodaAI's AI mock interview asks five questions for your own role and level, scores each answer out of 100 and shows a stronger answer to compare with yours. Final Round AI's mock interviews come with Pro.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free alternative to Final Round AI?
Not for full live interviews. The free tiers are capped: Cluely's Starter has limited responses, Sensei AI's free sessions stop at 15 minutes, Verve AI's free plan has three 15-minute sessions, Parakeet AI gives one 10-minute session, and LockedIn AI is free to start. For free practice, Verve AI's free plan includes five mock interviews, and the first mock interview is free on Parakeet AI and YoodaAI.
Does Final Round AI give refunds?
Only within 72 hours, and once per customer. Its refund policy voids the guarantee after two interview sessions longer than 30 minutes, and the FAQ on its plans page says the guarantee covers only first purchases of quarterly and yearly plans, with monthly plans non-refundable. Check both before you buy.
Which alternative uses my resume like Final Round AI?
Sensei AI. It tailors live answers to the resume and stories you upload, as Final Round AI's CoPilot does. YoodaAI answers from what is said in the call instead.
What is the cheapest Final Round AI alternative?
For a few interviews, YoodaAI: $9.99 for an hour and $29.99 for six, with no subscription. If you want a monthly plan, Cluely Pro is $19.99 a month, but it is a general meeting assistant rather than an interview tool.
The short version
- Final Round AI is worth its price if you want resume-based answers and will interview heavily for months.
- For a short search, pay-as-you-go tools cover the same interviews for a fraction of the cost: $29.99 on YoodaAI against $250 for a quarter of Final Round AI Pro.
- Sensei AI is the alternative to pick for personalised answers, LockedIn AI and Verve AI for languages and apps, and Parakeet AI for credits on a phone.
