Run the numbers on a full job hunt (copilot plus job applications) and you're close to $1,400 a year, versus roughly $18 for six hours of Yooda plus a few dollars for a handful of human-submitted applications. You're paying for the breadth, not for a faster or more accurate real-time answer specifically.

LockedIn AI

LockedIn AI is the one tool here that puts a number on speed: it advertises roughly 116ms responses, and backs that up with a dedicated Coding Copilot and coverage of 50+ languages with real-time translation. If you're interviewing in a language we don't handle well, or raw response speed is genuinely your deciding factor, that's a real reason to choose them over anything else on this list.

The entry point is steep for a short job search: $49.99/month, about $29.99/month if you commit quarterly, or $1,499.25 as a one-time lifetime fee. There's no way to try a single hour for a few dollars the way you can with Yooda or Parakeet. It also doesn't offer job applications at all, so live interview help is the whole product, not part of a shared balance.

Parakeet AI

Parakeet AI answers live during coding-platform interviews (HackerRank, LeetCode, CoderPad are all supported directly) and, unlike the other three, keeps working after the call ends: it generates notes from the conversation and lets you upload documents it can reference during future ones. If you want a written record of every interview or need the assistant grounded in your own material, that's a genuine edge none of the other three match.

Pricing is credit-based like ours, which is the fairer comparison of the four, but the entry point is higher: $29.50 for three interview credits, versus $7.49 for a full hour on Yooda. Their unlimited plan runs about $149.90/month, and full pricing only shows up after you've created an account, which makes comparing before you commit harder than it should be.

Questions people ask before choosing one

Is the cheapest option automatically the right one? Not if you need something the cheaper tool doesn't do. Does a lower advertised latency mean a better answer? Not on its own.
